PROFESSIONAL COACHING DEVELOPMENT
Youth Development & Student Coaching: From Potential to Independent Growth
Supporting young people means looking beyond what they learn to how they understand themselves, make choices, and develop the confidence to shape their own future.
01 — Goal & Learning Outcomes
The Youth Development & Student Coaching module equips participants with professional coaching approaches designed to support the academic, social, and personal development of children, adolescents, and young adults.
Throughout the program, participants explore learning processes, motivation, attention, emotional awareness, and behavioral patterns. Through age-appropriate and developmentally informed coaching approaches, they learn how to partner with young people in recognizing their strengths, clarifying goals, developing effective learning habits, and taking greater ownership of their personal development.
Developed with consideration for the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics, the module places particular emphasis on informed parental or legal guardian consent where required, confidentiality, child well-being, developmental needs, and professional boundaries when coaching minors.
By the end of the module, participants will strengthen their ability to support young people in discovering their potential, making informed choices about learning and personal development, building confidence, and developing greater self-responsibility.
